It Came From the Desert! is a compilation album of Coachella Valley based artists performing original Halloween music. Some of the songs have been previously released, but many are original compositions made specifically for the album. The compilation is composed by Coachella Valley creative and CV Independent writer Matt King.

13 tracks span the album’s run time, and the entire compilation is structured like a radio show, with local musician Derek Wade Timmons providing a special Halloween-day radio broadcast from the Salton City. Things take a turn for the worse, and as the night goes on, strange creatures start emerging from the murky Salton Sea.
